We agree with the Bible: the local church is God’s plan—His people—to demonstrate His glory, love and grace
to the whole world. No one is disqualified from knowing God personally through Jesus—everyone is invited.

James & Jesi Lusk
Elder / Pastor
After serving in leadership for nearly a decade at Anthem Church in Chicago, James & Jesi, along with their kids, became New Yorkers in 2019. They moved to East Harlem with a conviction that God has an incredible future for the neighborhood—and for New York as a whole.
They started City Beautiful Church in their home in June 2021 with a passion to see Jesus’ renewal, deliverance and restoration come into the lives of their friends and neighbors in East Harlem.
